| Introduction | My name is Layla and I come from a long line of what I like to call "fuctionally dysfunctional" people who enjoy "organized chaos". I don't have a family tree...I have a "Family Orchard". I am trying to sort it all out for my children as we speak :-) I love photography, I am trying to get certified to be a Doula, I have given up trying to stay on top of the laundry and dust and crumbs are my new friends. In between making sure all 5 children do their homework, stay off of drugs and shower on a regular basis, I am trying to figure out how to get them all to their sports activities without missing anything....hmmmm...open to suggestions.. |

| Favorite movies | All the Harry Potter movies. I love Billy Elliott, Elizabeth (from 1999 with Cate Blanchette), All of the Lord of the Rings movies, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch (by Guy Ritchie). I really like anything with a good story, But on the flip side I can also enjoy "stupid" comedies like Waiting and Van Wilder |
| Favorite music | Everything from classical to rap. Excluding Country music. Right now I have been listening to Reggae music and Brazilian Samba/Carnival Music. Like to try and experience diff. things. |

When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
Nope, I just wanted to feel it, then freeze more stuff and smash more stuff. I was amazed how things could change like that. (Biology was my fav. class in high school)
