| Introduction | I'm a true geek who never left school - I just went until I ran out of degrees. I have 2 lovely children and a supportive husband who tolerates my ramblings about language. I am currently an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Portland State University. I love my job as an applied linguistics professor -- it combines my loves: children, language and analysis. It also gives me a chance to keep learning, meet interesting people, and try new things. |
