| Introduction | I'm an author, media consultant, and licensed Realtor living in the Thumb of Michigan. I am also helping to launch a new post-production movie studio in Caseville, my adopted hometown. I was a newspaper and magazine editor, a columnist, and reporter during a 34 year career. I built a name and a reputation in the newspaper business before the industry collapsed. I also taught journalism at Kirtland Community College in beautiful Northern Michigan. I am married to a wonderful woman who has somehow put up with me for 25 years. I have two sons and a daughter. I am very proud of my boys. I have a huge family of brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. I never tire of seeing them and I wish I could spend more time with them. They are all good, hard-working people who lead productive lives and have great kids. I am an unabashed advocate for the State of Michigan and I love to write about the people, places and events here. That's what my blog will be about - all things Michigan. |
