| Introduction | I've been a lifeguard, coffee barista, restaurant server, and was a summer newspaper reporter for the Benton Evening News (IL). I played Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, and Karen Andre in The Night of January 16th. I have worked big, professional jobs in communication and public relations for hospitals and a mental health organization. I did that and managed volunteers and special events for the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo in the late 1980s. I'm often the oldest woman when I'm snowboarding at a ski place. I can ride a unicycle. I have three children who mean everything to me. I love to swim in the ocean (when I have a chance to), and I can't wait to go scuba diving again. Until the group stopped doing it last year, I went on an annual getaway weekend with seven of my childhood friends for 23 years. I received high marks in college for editing, proofreading, grammar and style. I love films and seeing the year's movies that are up for awards. I'm crazy about my brothers, husband, sisters, my nieces and nephews, and my 96-year-old mother. Friends and family mean everything to me. Lastly, as my bro Erik recently said, "we all live together in an ever-expanding universe..." |
