Introduction	Welcome to my personal blog. On this site I can editorialize and speak my mind on various planning issues. The opinions expressed are mine, and do not reflect the opinions of any of my employers. As our AICP policies note, we as planners should strive to raise the public awareness of planning issues. We should also seek to educate ouselves and raise the level of our own discussion of the issues. This is my opportunity to meet this challenge. I have been a professional planner since 1981. I have worked in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I have always been in the public sector, having worked both at the regional and local levels. I have also served on two local Planning Boards, a Conservation Commission, Highway Safety Committee and a Community Development Corporation.
