Introduction	A former newspaper reporter and editor in Minnesota and Montana, I'm an Adams State alum with a continuing interest in small-college athletics. A World (Junior) Cross Country Champs competitor, U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier and member of the 1992 "perfect score" team, I live in Helena, Mont., where I run twice per week with my much-faster border collie.
