| Introduction | I've started a new adventure! I am currently a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia. I've been meeting new people and learning the ways of a new culture all while helping with Zambias health needs. The focus of my involvement has been partnering with a local Health Organization to teach about HIV/AIDS prevention as well as food security and the risks of malaria. As a secondary focus, I will be doing any number of things including helping build community gardens to teaching English and running the Anti AIDS Club at Chibobo Basic school. Being away from home and loved ones has been difficult but I feel this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it will give me a chance to make a positive mark on the world. |
