| Introduction | About this blog, actually:
Sex sells. But not all commercials are filled with smiling, buxom, blue-eyed, blonds pointing to objects that you should buy. This is a blog about those commercials - the ones without the blonds. For the most part anyway. Ad Candy? A good advertisement should be like eye candy. A company's got 15 to 60 seconds to grab your attention, tantalize you and leave you wanting more...of their product. Eyecandy.blogspot.com, probably got snapped up years ago (Oh yeah, 2001 to be exact) - and contains exactly one posting on...anime files? Funny, I thought it would have been filled with broken img src tags, above lots of captions referencing Matt Damon and the like. At any rate, that's how we became Ad Candy. But Add Candy?? Would you believe, the second 'd' is silent? Ok, ok, I'm illiterate and I spelled the abbreviation for 'advertisement' wrong. And, Adcandy.blogspot.com was taken too...Add Candy is cuter!...The additional d has a nicer ring to it! Awww, c'mon! |
