| Introduction | I have an M.S. in Sport Psychology and am a USATF certified track coach. In my youth I was a high school track All-American and set the fastest time in Penn Relays history for a girls high school 800m split. I ran Div 1 track in college and then trained post-collegiately for the Oly Trials marathon. As a long-time competitive runner, running coach, massage therapist, and teacher, I have worked with youth, collegiate, and adult runners, and with the U.S. Olympic Development Program, Nike Grassroots, and teams at Princeton, Stanford, and LaSalle. These days I'm a mental performance coach with the NJ*NY track club, an elite post-collegiate team training for the 2016 Olympics, and also work with individuals and teams in my private practice in Philadelphia and Boston. In my spare time I direct a girls empowerment running program for adolescents to help empower the next wave of humans. A fun fact is that I used to live in Honduras and helped run the Olympic torch down the Pan-American Highway. This blog reflects my emergent perspective on the mind and sport. |
