| Introduction | I grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and moved to Seattle in 2002. I recently graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Language Arts and my Elementary Residency Teaching Certification. I am not teaching this year, and am therefore using this time to do things I wouldn't normally be able to do while teaching full-time. I plan on earning my master's degree in Special Education from the University of Washington and going on to seminary someday. I also dream of teaching in Alaska and/or Montana within the next five or so years, where I will learn to fly fish! I love God, theological conversations, pacifism, and, as my friend Kandyce says, I am "the grammar goddess of all things feminist, theological, and green." |

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
I wouldn't.
