| Introduction | In life’s journey, people are inspired to take different avenues. Some are by choice and others are thrust upon them. My inspiration for the creation of MedFN was the latter. In 1986 I graduated from Michigan State University and was ready to go out and make my mark in the business world. After working for others for a while I started my own Insurance Agency when I quickly realized that most people do not keep a good account of their health history. In December of 1997 I was diagnosed with cancer which I battled twice when it reoccurred in February of 2002. I beat the cancer when I received a stem cell transplant on September 16, 2002. It was during my treatment, that a good friend and doctor recommended that I keep control and play an active role in documenting all of my medical treatments. This is when I thought of the idea of Med File Now ® (MedFN) will put you in control of your medical information wherever and whenever you need it. |
