| Introduction | These "About Me" sections always make me nervous; why you ask, because I want to be clever n witty n sh*t and everything I write I feel is wack. Then, I'm stuck with the dilemma: I don't know what to say about myself. So, with that being said from the door, I'll follow with this statement: I am African, from where I don't know, blame European Imperialism and African Ignorance. I am the daughter of my community and the child of my mother. I enjoy long walks by the beach at dawn even though I've never done it before, but I daydream about that shit and I like it. I love water. I am the guardian of my future and I handle that position with pride and confidence that is often mistaken for arrogance (I can be) but often I'm not (I try not to be). I love food, I love to eat, I like to cook (sometimes). I love to travel, in my mind I've been everywhere, but actually I've only been to a few places. And, Lastly, I just want to be loved, like everyone else does. |
