| Introduction | Hello. Welcome to my blog! I've had an interest in fashion since childhood. I believe fashion is an art. Fashion has allowed me to express myself, to dream, and create. My experience in fashion bloomed when I won the American Mall Model Search in 2009. Since winning the model search, I have submerged myself into the world of fashion through magazines, books, videos, the web, and coursework in a modeling and fashion academy. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of fashion with friends, family, and co-workers. Before dedicating my life to fashion, I taught elementary school for fourteen years. I couldn't resist my true calling, which was fashion. My style could be described as classic with a hint of bombshell. I have a taste for elegance, quality, and sophistication. My top five go to pieces of clothing are pencil skirts, silk blouses, cashmere sweaters, 1950's inspired dresses, and leopard print pieces. I select clothing with straight lines and softness introduced by pleats, pearls,and bows. My fashion icons are Jacqueline Onassis, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and Scarlett Johansson, to name a few. My favorite fashion designers are Chanel, Valentino, and Dior. |
