Introduction	Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Janet, but you may call me Jay. I’m a senior in college, going into this hopefully improving workforce in 2010. I’m a New York girl, born and raised. I’m studying Journalism and Politics. I think people should pay more attention to the news and know what is going on in the world. I'm not saying that I'm an expert, but I strive to be informed and be an active citizen. This, for me, begins with having my eyes and ears open for the latest news. This past year has definitely been action-packed with an Obama presidency, an economic downturn, and strives for a healthcare reform. I'm dedicating my blog to the top stories of the week. I will be listing the top stories that occur each week, with a brief synopsis and a few opinions. So, welcome to my Morning Meeting. If you're not bored with me already, keep coming back.
