Introduction BEN CRAVER is a native Texan married happily to a beautiful woman named Virginia—better known as Ginny—who is a native of Wisconsin. He presently serves as Assistant Dean and Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Wayland Baptist University's San Antonio campus. A former pastor in Texas, he earned a PhD in theology and has taught at Wayland Baptist University, the B. H. Carroll Theological Institute, and Southwestern Seminary. Together, the Cravers have four adult children and five grandchildren: Rebecca and David live in Ashburn, Virginia and have two sons Matthew and Michael (our grandsons!); Robert lives the single life in Richmond, Virginia; Emily and Mark live in the Dallas area and have a daughter Kendall, a son Jess, and a daughter Jentry (I think it sounds better to say, grandchildren!); Lindsey, our youngest, works at the Hyatt in San Antonio. Ben enjoys working with students at Wayland and loves the rigorous preparation necessary simply to be an adequate professor. More than anything else, Ben values the grace of God in his life. Who else but a gracious God and sweet Ginny would put up with him?

Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?

Because the original Latin word for "rasp" means "scratchy throat." Anyone with a scratchy throat can't sing. Therefore, that person must be "blue."
