| Introduction | I am a retired Emergency Services Specialist from the San Gabriel Pomona Valley American Red Cross in Pasadena, California. In 2009 I relocated to Southeastern Missouri. I have ten-plus years of experience in Disaster and Catastrophic planning. Additionally, I served as liaison to community partnerships for fire, police, cities, hospitals, corporations and churches in the 44 communities the chapter served. I am Red Cross certified in Earthquake Workshops, Community Disaster Education, Mass Casuality, Disaster Assessment, Damage Assessment, Disaster Instructor Speciality Training, Public Affairs in Disaster, Shelter Operations, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Terrorism, Liaison, Aviation Disaster. I am FEMA certified in National Response Plan (NRP), Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS). |
