Introduction 20 Years as a sound designer probably doesn't have much to do with clocks I guess. But I have always had a fasination with them. As a youngster, at home we had a number of them ticking away, I don't even remember dad winding them which must have been a ritual for him as it is fo myself. Back in 2000, I went to the British Museam and found myself spending minutes with mummies and hours studying the display they had put together of their famous historical clocks. I really had no idea of the marvels that I was looking at. 3 years ago I designed and built a CNC routing machine, which I intended to make molds for high performance 300kph+ model aircraft. Up till now still have'nt made one:( I got a bit stuck when I decided to make a wooden clock for my son, Seth, 1st birthday. I bought some paper plans and re-created them with CAD software that I had learned when I was designing laser-cut balsa model aircraft. So like I said I got a bit stuck on clocks and haven't stopped! I love breathing life into them for the first time, going to bed and in the morning, seeing that they have been diligently ticking away all night in the darkness. Enjoy :)
