| Introduction | I am a lesser, but I have been saved by the blood of Christ. I brought nothing to my salvation but my sin, but because of the finished work on the cross I am allowed to approach the throne of the living God that is the Consuming Fire and live. I do not deserve this; God's favor toward me is unmerited; it is by grace alone. I serve a sovereign God. He rules the universe, I do not. His will is free, mine is not. He deserves glory and I deserve death, yet He sustains me. He is the one that makes my heart beat. He is the one that makes me breathe, and He is the one that allows my fingers to type this. He is my Lord; but He is also the lover of my soul. He is my comfort and my refuge. He is my strong tower. He is my light and my salvation, and nothing can change this. My life is His; I gladly hand it over; may He be pleased. |
