| Introduction | I have been baking for family and friends since I was about 14 years old. There are many requests for certain recipes of mine at parties or holiday gatherings. I decided to start the small sweets business when I started receiving requests for large orders from family and friends for various desserts. I have done platters of different cookies for parties, cupcakes and petit fours for showers, candies for party favors and various special sweets for holidays and special occasions. I even did my first wedding cake last month! However, not all the recipes I try out are specifically for baking. I enjoy trying various types of recipes. Like most families, I am always on the lookout for healthy and simpler recipes. Anything with fresh vegetables and/or herbs is always popular in my household. We are a family of three which includes my husband and our son, along with the family pups. I enjoy cooking, entertaining, gardening, learning new ways to increase our family dollar and anything that promotes a healthy lifestyle for me and my family. |
