Sri Lanka is the most tourism friendly island in the Indian Ocean and its 5-star product continues to grow and grow. Sri Lanka boasts the finest beaches in the world. Gin clear waters lick sands that feel like cake-mix between the toes. Cooling winds gently tickle the ocean. The tourism product in Sri Lanka is growing and so too does the infrastructure. There are mountains to trek and hills to hike. A civilization as old as 2500 years with ancient and inspiring architecture. But that isn’t the purpose of this island, no way. Sri Lanka is not only about the beach and what lies beneath the brilliant blue waters. Its the people of Sri Lanka who make it special. Ever smiling, generous and always obliging.
