| Introduction | I love to: hike & smell the earthy dirt of the forest while watching for any beings that might be sharing their day with me; the smell of the rain, especially when it has fallen on lilacs; storm skiing, maple trees, the smell of maple blossoms, red cardinals and gray squirrels; making compilation cds for others; & my family and friends with a bottomless passion.I hate to see injustice done to anyone. I am inspired by atmospheric optics, geology, and weather & can watch many movies over & over again. I thoroughly enjoy watching my children laugh as they are tickled by my husband. I grew up in a county with more cows in it than people & went to a polish catholic church that held morning mass entirely in polish. I would rather be lost in the mountains than in the desert. I am deathly afraid of flash floods in slot canyons am terrified of swimming in the open ocean. I can spend hours watching scrub jays and magpies carry peanuts off my patio. My great, great grandfather came over on a boat from Bavaria in 1882. My favorite combinations of words are slow moving storm & lake effect snow. |
