Introduction is, what the name already reveals, somewhat caught between the state of geek and nerd. He sometimes asks himself when the first one ends and the latter one starts. Asking questions like these usually brings him into contact with the Wikipedia where he looks up one article just to notice ... hours later ... that he has read about 100 other articles and forgotten to eat. And this despite the fact that he loves good food. Eating while reading (a good book about linguistics, algebra, programming or just a good science fiction book) is as common as annoying his friends with seemingly useless facts and statistics he learned from articles, essays and books he read. Being unfocused and sometimes erratic he should not drink 2.5 liters of coffee a day - but he does anyway - and instead try to focus more on just one single venture instead of half a dozen tasks at once. He loves to talk and prefers logic instead of just believing; being critical is a necessity when dealing with academic topics but also with the obnoxious nature of most representatives of humanity.
Interests Syntax, Morphology, Semantics, Phonetics, Mathematics, Literature, Languages (Latin, Greek, English, Old English, Spanish, Finnish and Russian as well as French and Italian), High Tech, PS3, Films (esp. Sci-Fi and Horror), Drawing
Favorite Movies 13th floor, Dead Silence, Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, Alien 1+2, Terminator 1+2 (well and T3 and T4 because of the Drones), Batman Begins, Sunshine, I Robot, Minority Report, Battlestar Galactica, Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Eye, The Big Bang Theory, The Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, The 6th Day, Dark City, perhaps even Matrix II (but not 3), Serenity, Firefly (oh yeah), Star Wars (all of them, though young Anakin sucks), Star Trek (Voyager is cool, and the most of the films too), Existenz, Sunshine, Equilibrium, Silent Running, Underworld, Screamers
Favorite Music Pretty Much everything which uses guitars or is part of classics
Favorite Books All those written by Asimov and Lem, Heinlein and Philip K. Dick are also cool, Ciceros works are interesting, Humboldt and Adorno wrote some things to occupy my mind, as did Barthes, Derrida and DeSaussure, as well as Chomsky, then there are Faulkner's great works, certainly Hemmingway, Alfred Bester, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan (may god be with him), and so many more
