Introduction	I'm learning to be a mom and finding many other things to do in my "spare" time...like knitting, crafts, cooking, learning to sew, and my new favorite obsession - reading blogs about all of these things! My background is in zoology and I love the outdoors, nature, ecology, wildlife, and teaching all of this to kids. I was a museum naturalist, taking care of a live animal collection and teaching wildlife to children, until my son was born. Now I volunteer and do the same things on my own schedule!

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?

Now :-) And when I wake up, I would count the stars until I fall asleep again, living off stardust and dreams.
