Introduction	I'm Suzanne Parrott. I like to shop thrift stores and make over furniture. You might even find me on the curb in front of your house sifting through furniture left in the trash. I'm on a quest to show people how to re-use the stuff they already have. Our landfills aren't getting any smaller. It's time to figure out ways to re-use as much as possible. I'm starting with furniture and household goods that I inherit, find in the trash or buy at thrift stores. Refinishing furniture is a new hobby of mine, although playing with wood and power tools is not something new. My Dad enjoys building furniture and taught my siblings and I how to use a hammer (and more) at a young age. I have memories of being no older than 7 or 8 and building a birdhouse for our Mom on Mothers Day.
