| Introduction | I work in an office by day, and I'm a volunteer firefighter/medical first responder in my spare time. While I never ran fast… or far… I am very passionate about running. After enduring hip pain for several years, I was finally diagnosed with congenital bilateral hip dysplasia just before I turned 40, and was told I needed to have surgery ASAP. PAO (Periacetabular Osteotomy) I am an information hog, and immediately combed the internet for information about this condition and surgery. I was ecstatic to find the accounts of so many personal experiences with this in the form of blogs! So here is mine.
