| Introduction | I want to develop a vocabulary that moves beyond "accessibility standards". I offer my experience living with cerebral palsy, essential tremors, functional neurological disorder--FND, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, neuropathic itch,and seizures as the launching pad for a new vocabulary. I draw from studies in library science, and my interest in how words are used to develop my ideas. My ideas are starting as jigsaw puzzle pieces. I hope they may become more cohesive over time. I prefer an ongoing curiosity to arriving at "the right answers". |
