| Introduction | The Parkland Institute strives to strengthen democratic debate in Alberta with solidly researched reports and public events promoting public policy based on such values as social equity, social responsibility, environmental sustainability and the common good. We are an Alberta-wide network of engaged citizens and part of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Our research covers such topics as: public health care reform, royalty rates and energy policy. We are funded by individuals, academics, private businesses, unions, professional associations and community-based and religious organizations. We only receive in-kind support from the University of Alberta. |
