| Introduction | The idea of putting my proverbial pen to the paper has been dancing around in my head for a while. Every time I sit down and stare at the screen I am faced, not with the dreaded blankness of writers block, but with a head full of incomplete threads, non-sequitur meanderings and jumbled thoughts that leave me chasing my tail. I have been advised that there is nowhere better to start than with a friendly hello, so here it goes. I have realized that I have a story to tell of a womans life afoot in places few have gone. It is uniquely mine and I have taken my camera along the way to help tell that story. Some of the time I have dog(s) with me, some of the time I do not. Tank Girl and Shenan were my first two Pit mixes and were mother and daughter. They passed in 2008-2009. Maggy is my more recent adoption and she is American Staffordshire Terrier. |
