Introduction	I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Iowa. I received my PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Iowa. I graduated from Knox College and during my time at Knox, I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. That was the original reason for creating this blog. Now it is just generally about my life and my family. My husband is a physician and I also teach Zumba fitness classes. We have a daughter, Emerson, who was born in October 2021 and we have 2 cats.
