| Introduction | Hi, I'm Tuesday's Child, a lawyer by day and wife of a resident by night and weekend! Hubby and I met while he was a first-year med student and I was a third-year law student. Hubby matched in the spring of 2011 and--after getting engaged--we moved across the country that summer for his residency. I found a new job in our new city, we made new friends, and all was good. Only thing is, that darn surgical intern year exposed him to a field he liked better than his original field, and Hubby decided to switch specialties! He finished out his first intern year and we got married, then he took a year to do research in the new field and re-match. 2013-14 was a tough year for us because Hubby had to do ANOTHER surgical intern year. However, now it's 2014 and Hubby is FINALLY, officially a PGY2! We have 4 more years of residency (7 years total) ahead of us in our new city. We're loving being newlyweds and building our life together, supporting each other through the challenges that come and figuring out our future. We have a Little Dog, but no other wee ones quite yet! |
