| Introduction | After 23 years in the Air Force and another 20 as a defense contractor, it was time for a new career, retirement, and time to enjoy life. In September of 2014 we sold our home (5 Sep) retired (9 Sep), and on 17 Sep we purchased a 42' 2014 Winnebago Tour motorhome. We've been on the road ever since and it's been great. We are finally seeing places we have always wanted to see. We enjoy spending summers in Colorado and going south for the Winter. Not sure how long we plan on doing this, but we're looking at 10 years for now. We look forward to seeing much of the United States during our travels and meeting up with old friends along the way as well as meeting new friends. The hardest part about being on the move so much is missing our kids and grandkids. When we do get back to Colorado Springs we spoil the kids rotten. Retirement is the best job ever. |
