| Introduction | I was born and raised in New England and learned to paddle on the rough waters of the Penobscot Bay, Maine. My parents had me doing water sports from birth and lured me into a surfski with ease in high school. I became obsessed with riding waves and love the feeling of surging down a steep swell. In college, I also got into flatwater racing and plan to pursue that discipline further. I recently graduated from Bowdoin College and have aspirations of being a large animal vet some day.
