| Interests | Hello! This is Jen (Ben's oldest sister) & as many of you know Ben joined the Marines & was called up early to go to boot camp. He left August 28th. Swore in August 29th & then flew to San Diego, CA, where he will stay until he if finished. He is scheduled to graduate November 21st if everything goes according to plan. After he finishes boot camp he will continue his training as military police. Ben wanted a way to keep people updated on his status & what was going on so I felt that this would be the best way. He has sent us several letters & I will be posting them as he wrote them, without spelling or grammar corrections. There may be a few lines here and there that I will leave out b/c they apply only to our family but otherwise the letters will be published as written. Feel free to leave comments & I will send them to Be; or better yet write him yourself. His Address is on the first post, please send no packages but letters & pictures are fine & would be appreciated by Ben. Most importantly keep Ben in your prayers the next several months will be challenging physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually and as he stated in one of his letters "prayers are all we have to hold on to it is what keeps us sane & keeps us trying our hardest." |
