| Introduction | We love to travel. Usually we go to different countries in the world twice a year(35+ days for each trip) and spend three months (January through March) in Mexico, and three months (June through August) at our cabin on Powell Lake. We have visited many places and are always interested in trying new ones. Most recently we have travelled to Russia, Mongolia and China via the Trans-Siberian Train, and will be travelling to the Ukraine and Romania in April/May 2012. Last year we did the Balkans and Vietnam. We love to share what we have learned and often give people good ideas for their own travels. John has written articles for "Travel Scoop" over the years. While at home we attend our local hockey games and I do aerobics three times a week. We have seven grandchildren who come to our cabin during the summer to enjoy a holiday. Some have grown older and don't come as often now. We have met many friends during our travels and have kept in contact with most of them through email. We often stay in hostels which is a great place to meet people and learn from their travel experiences. Therefore, we like to share what we have learned also. |
