Introduction	Just an average guy from Staten Island lucky enough to be blessed with good health and a wonderful family. Since my golf game is so hopeless, I now spend hours at the computer writing about my life and the things that interest or irritate me. Interests	Reading, theater, travel, sports (especially golf), food, wine, walking, biking, blogging and nostalgia.
Favorite movies	I like old movies with real movie stars like Bette Davis, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck and Myrna Loy. Sometimes they were schmaltzy, but they told their story and didn't wear you out in the process.
Favorite music	Big band swing, early rock and roll, jazz, gospel and country. Artists: Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Louie Prima and Keely Smith, Peggy Lee and Jimmy Durante.
Favorite books	Too many to single out a few. I was lucky enough to acquire a love of reading early in life,and it is something that always stayed with me.
