Introduction	My stalled academic career has turned into a life of commuting to Swindon (yuk!) while remembering how nice it was to work in the same city you live in. I spend my time trying to fit in enough sleep to remain barely functional at work, around the more important activities of bringing up two tiny nerds, and finding time for my nerdy hobbies.

Favorite Movies	Rain Man, The Usual Suspects, Fist of the North Star, The Big Lebowski, Blade Runner, The Dark Crystal, The Lost Boys, The Breakfast Club, Clerks, Pump Up the Volume, Point Break, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, The Browning Version. Favorite Music	Increasingly eclectic, and often themed around whatever nerdy activity I'm taking part in, but I still love electronica of all sorts, from the ambient to the hardcore. I'm slowly coming round to folk, but I still don't like Jazz, so don't try and make me.

You're trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky. Describe how you will escape.

Oh dear! poor goat - I kill it and extract the bezoar stone from its stomach - I use the metal slinky to scratch a series of mystic runes on the well walls before using the goat's entrails to cast an augary - if the portents are good I cast a levitation spell and float out of the well.
