Introduction	I grew up with three dreams: to be a mother, a teacher, and a writer. I imagined trundling my children off to school and then hurrying to instruct a classroom full of eager literature students at a nearby university. I would take the summers off and write my novel while my children played at my feet. I never imagined that my three dreams would weave together quite as they have. Like every other mother, I do hurry my children off to school, but school is around our kitchen table and I am their teacher. Fiction fantasies have fallen by the wayside. I find myself compelled to record the stories and anecdotes of my girls making their way through life. I chronicle our victories and defeats, the things we cry about and those about which we laugh until we cry. As my daughters are much too busy rushing to grow up to take notice of such things, I write for them, so they can remember later , and I write for me, so I can hold on to them longer.
Interests	Family, reading, movies, Scrabble, scrapbooking, stamping, travel
Favorite movies	Anything Hitchcock, but my all time favorite is Rebecca.
Favorite books	Life of Pi, Pride and Prejudice, Rebecca, The Glass Blowers, Of Human Bondage, The House of Mirth, Jude the Obscure.
