| Introduction | Tom is a retired Software Engineer and Christine is a retired Environmental Engineer. They met in college (MANY decades ago), and after graduation moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where they got married and eventually raised their two children. They enjoy traveling, hiking / biking / exploring the outdoors, and were avid "tent campers" for most of their adult lives. With their children both "grown", they decided to start the next phase of their journeying by buying a "camper van" which will let them stay "close to nature" while not being a slave to it - being far less affected by things like inclement weather - while also allowing much faster camp setup/teardown times. Their goal for the next few years is to travel most of the continental United States, and maybe parts of Canada. |
