| Introduction | When I watched little yellow chicks hatch in second grade, I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I had many wonderful teachers over the years but my second grade teacher touched my life in a special way because I knew that she genuinely cared about me as a person. Even though it was many years ago, she was my first role model and mentor. My goal is for each child to feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn about our amazing world! |
