| Introduction | Darin J. Addison is a Music, Marketing & Media Relations Consultant, Freelance Writer, and DeeJay living in London, Ontario, Canada. Darin was the host and producer of The Parallel Universe on 94.9 CHRW and continues to fill in on an occasional basis. Over the past eight years, he has hosted shows in various time slots, filled in on The History of Us, The Third Stone and hosted the CHRW Top 30 Countdown. He also volunteered at CHRW from September 1987-August 1988, assisting in the Music Department, filling in for various shows, and eventually hosting and producing a weekly show. From there, Darin moved to Toronto and went on to work in artist management and music promotion where he worked with a number of independent and major label recording artists including The Ashgrove, Sara Craig, Crash Test Dummies, and The Pursuit of Happiness. More recently, Darin has managed publicity and media relations efforts for London Ontario Live Arts (LOLA) festival, the Jack Richardson Music Awards (JRMA), and local indie folk orchestra Olenka and the Autumn Lovers. |
