IntroductionI am a 30+ year old female who rediscovered exercise in 2002 after quiting smoking and have been a fitness enthusiast ever since. I spent six years working out at a gym in my company's corporate headquarters and two years at the Equinox (Columbus Circle, Wall Street, Great Neck and Roslyn, NY). When my corporate membership expired I decided to see what else was out there. My fitness regimen consists of group exercise classes, generally 4-5 days per week. When working, I like to exercise at lunch time, then eat at my desk. When not working, I prefer to exercise first thing in the morning. I enjoy cardio and strength training classes, where I feel I am challenged. I particularly like boxing, kickboxing and kettle bells. I don't like spin, mostly because the saddle is so uncomfortable, but also due to the darkened room. I don't spend much time on yoga or pilates as I don't feel they give me enough of a workout.
