| Introduction | I live in Neve Daniel, Israel with my wife Shauna not far from our four children, their spouses (3 are married), and 17 grandchildren. I was born in Toronto Canada, but made Aliyah 15 years ago and have enjoyed every moment of the transition - well almost every moment. I studied in Israel in '73-'74 and was privileged to learn from great teachers. Wherever my life pursuits have taken me I have always been drawn back to the study of the תנ"ך and the history of the Jewish people. This blog is an attempt to share some of my musings and thoughts in those two areas with anyone who is interested in reading them. Please feel free to comment constructively, and engage the material yourself at your own pace. I make no apologies for the lack of translation. This blog is intended for the initiated and not for the novice. If I was able to express myself properly in Hebrew I would have written it in Hebrew. My motivation in this endeavor is I trust ,להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה, but I wish to make an attempt at touching posterity as well. In that regard, please bear with me.
