| Introduction | If I might steal a few "revised" words from one of my favorite country songs..."I am Carrie Mae's granddaughter, the spitting image of my mother, and when the day is done my father's still my biggest fan." All true...but wait, there's more. I've been married forever to the father of my three sons...two of which were in the military. My middle boy, Kevin, served 9 years in the Air Force, and my youngest, Seth, spent 7 years in the Army, 2 of which were spent in Iraq. Both are out now. I started this blog before Seth's first deployment because a friend who served in Iraq said people needed to hear from military moms who supported the mission...and I needed a place to express my feelings. So here it is, for what it's worth... |
