Industry Government
Occupation lackey - not even capitalized
Location Washington, DC, United States
Introduction In my late 20s but getting younger like Benjamin Button. Obsessed with the 2008 presidential election but completely sick of the candidates. Never seen an episode of Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, or any of the Real Worlds after Seattle. Lover of men who do not own khakis. Finally bought some furniture to celebrate Year 3 in the same apartment. Extrovert with secret introvert fantasies. Addicted to BCBG gowns, Blackadder, Through the Looking Glass and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, pink shoes, bellinis, and the search for why a raven is like a writing desk.
Interests reading, extensive daydreaming on wide-ranging topics such as travel to places with dense foliage where one might lose a toe and how to write the Great American Novel without the tiresome process of putting pen to paper or storyline inspiration. Obsessed with the mafia and the Nigerian 419 scheme. Every so often, rouse myself to learn to cook (new ceramic cookware still encased in plastic, but purchased on sale!)and take up singing opera outside the toilet. Love late dinners and early breakfasts. Think nothing is better than a night in a hotel.
Favorite Movies The Life Aquatic, The Battle of Algiers, Ronin, The Royal Tennenbaums, Any Given Sunday, His Girl Friday, Secretary, Carandiru
Favorite Music Everything has changed, except for the things that have stayed the same! Now I listen to: Django Reinhardt, Beth Orton, Bob Marley, The Cure, Joao Gilberto, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, Sarah Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, and when I'm in a romantic mood, Biggie.
Favorite Books okay, top five to take with me if I'm stuck on a desert island for the rest of my life - Anna Karenina, latest translation of Beowulf, The Beach (o, the irony), The Great Gatsby, Rabbit Run - or all four Rabbit books bound together so they count as one, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (same thing, the six-in-one you can buy in the discount bin at Borders for $11), and Orlando. Okay, that's seven - I did say it would be for the rest of my life.

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

blow through your nose.
