It is very much human. Because we hate or rather deserve to hate only those persons we have loved. So if you are the one facing the gunfire, don't take it personally. Writers don't remember bad things. In the due course of time, they love all and get nothing in return. So at least feel pity for those who wanted the whole world to love them, got nothing and still kept pounding their typewriter or keyboards in the late hours of nights, in the saddest moments of their lives or in the rarely happier moments thinking that life, at last may be doing justice to them.
