| Introduction | I published my first book The Story You Tell in June of 2021. This blog is about my writer's journey and the things I love. I grew up in Whittier, California. I attended Servite High School, and was Valedictorian of the Class of 1971. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 1975, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. It was at USC that I met his wife Maria Pedroza. We graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1980. I served as a dental officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1980 to 1986. I began private practice in Grass Valley, California and retired in 2020. I spent the year writing his book The Story You Tell. Maria and I have been married for 45 years, and have four adult children. I am an avid bIcyclist, is currently working on a book How to Bike and Not Die and has several others in development: Don’t Retire: Rewire, and Unlearn to Dance. |
