| Introduction | I like having FUN, remembering not to be too anxious, not letting other people's paths screw mine up, trying my best, giving up when it's necessary, finding myself important, taking care of me and mine, loving until it hurts, remembering that sometimes the only reason something happens is: just cuz. I like being in charge of myself and my decisions.. doing absurd things just for the sake of absurdity, shaking the boat occasionally to see if it will still float long enough to take another shake.. having a good cry when I need to, showing my kids that it's ok to be human and teaching them that to be human is to attempt to achieve something greater than what already is and to become the best version of ourselves as possible and to do that we must fail... miserably.. often.. and unexpectedly.. probably as often or more so than as many times/things we learn/love. At the end of each failure to become more or better.. we learn that we were already awesome, but we still have the innate need to continue to change and make things more betterer.. :-p |
