| Introduction | I am a husband and father first. I am a Cardinals fan, Packers fan, and Duke Blue Devils fan. In literature I like authors like Cozzens, Marquand and O'Hara (pretty old-fashioned). In politics, I am a big-R Republican and a small-d democrat. I am also an attorney with a practice focusing on large-scale, complex commercial litigation. Before I became an attorney I was an English professor here in Milwaukee at Marquette. My law degree is from Marquette, and I also have a Ph.D. and M.A. in English and American Literature from Duke University and a B.A. from Princeton. |
