Introduction Growing up in Haliburton County, Erin went on to study journalism at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto. Upon graduating, she lived a nomadic existence for some years traveling in South East Asia, Mexico and Central America where she discovered her passion for wire jewellery. The call of the lakes, the sound of wind in the trees and the feel of warm rocks beneath her toes called her back to the Highlands. Although Erin began twisting wire on the beaches of Mexico and Central America, she has taken courses at George Brown College and the Haliburton School of the Arts. An experienced facilitator Erin has taught wire jewellery classes to adults and children in community galleries, colleges, schools and studios throughout Ontario. Erin’s studio is located at The Art Hive. Erin Lynch is the founder of the Maple Lake Artisans Collective.
