Introduction	I was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq.I graduated from the Gifted Students' School in Baghdad in 2007. In the same year, I fled to Syria with my family due to the intolerable situation in Iraq. In 2008, I won a scholarship to come and study in the US. I am currently a sophomore at The University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology/Pre-med. I eventually aspire to go to Medical School. I have always been interested in writing articles and blogs and, along with Ali Rawaf, was the Editor in chief of the GSS's official magazine. My inquisitiveness is the motive behind my contribution to this blog. I hope I can deliver valuable insights to the readers with the ultimate goal of growing this network of productive thinkers.
